Now Showing - the work of Larry Petry

After retiring from a career in Education here in Yakima and with the Red Cross on the West side of the State, Larry began to explore his creative side in painting and making metal sculpture. His vibrant paintings express varied subjects from portraits to abstracts using a mix of media: wood dye, glue, varnishes, oil paint, fabric, etc. He paints in his Bellevue studio and welds in the garage of his Yakima home. The show runs through June 4th. An Artist's Reception will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4:00 - 6:00.
