Holiday Show

The 2016 Holiday Show is UP!! Now until the end of the year, stop in to pick-up that special one-of-a-kind gift......cramics, jewelry, paintings, wood pieces, fiber, pine needle baskets, glass and lots of ornaments! Open House, Saturday, the 12th, from Noon until 4:00.

Note: the shop will be closed: Nov. 24th & 25th. Open: Small Business Saturday, the 26th and Mondays in December from 9:30 - 3:00.

Another page on the calendar

So, August is here...that means that the current show is almost over and another will be up soon. This is the last week to see Pamela Searcy's abstract and landscape paintings, collage work and beautiful bronze sculptures. If you haven't yet had a chance to get in to the Gallery for this show, please make sure to before it all comes down on Saturday. We are all very lucky that Pamela has decided to return to her native Valley where, hopefully the local art's community will embrace her amazing talent.

July Show

Pamela Searcy - Paintings and Bronze Sculpture. July 5th through August 6th. Pamela was featured in an article by Melissa Labberton in the the May issue of Yakima Magazine. A Yakima native she has returned from years spent on the West side to live and work. She paints both abstracts and landscapes using acrylics and mixed-media. Her bronze sculptures express unique characters and many represent the peoples of the Plateau Nations of Central and Eastern Washington during the mid 1800's. An Artist's Reception will beheld on Friday, July 8th, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

May show almost over

Time flies so quickly......another month about to come to an end and another show will begin next week. If you haven't had a chance to see Larry Petry's paintings and metal sculptures be sure to make it in before it all goes away on Saturday afternoon.

The show starts on Tuesday, June 7th and runs through July 2nd. The Artists' Reception will be Friday, June 10th, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Now Showing - the work of Larry Petry

After retiring from a career in Education here in Yakima and with the Red Cross on the West side of the State, Larry began to explore his creative side in painting and making metal sculpture. His vibrant paintings express varied subjects from portraits to abstracts using a mix of media: wood dye, glue, varnishes, oil paint, fabric, etc. He paints in his Bellevue studio and welds in the garage of his Yakima home. The show runs through June 4th. An Artist's Reception will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4:00 - 6:00.

One More Week

Only one more week to see Peaceable Kingdom - work by Renee Adams and Justin Gibbens of Ellensburg. Renee's beautiful egg-tempera miniatures are colorful and imaginative and exquisitely detailed. Justin's illustrative skill replicates species from the animal world on ancient manuscript papers.



Next up: Edibles  - if it can be eaten, it is depicted by various Yakima Valley artists in paint, photographs, fabric, wood, metal, pencil, clay and more......March 8 - April 2. Opening Reception, Saturday, March 12th, 2:00 - 4:00.

February Show

Peaceable Kingdom - the work of  Ellensburg artists Renee Adams and Justin Gibbens.
Renee works in Egg Tempera to create vibrant, sometimes fantastical images. Justin's skillful illustrations are painted on old parchment fragments in this "A to Z" series.
The show runs through March 5th with an Artists' Reception this Saturday, the 13th from 2:00 - 4:00

Almost Over

The Valley Collectors' Show ends on Saturday. During this rather s-l-o-w month you have an opportunity to purchase, for extremely reasonable prices, local and not-so-local art pieces from various local collectors. There is a wide variety, both type and price on display. Stop by before it is over!!
